Voice Actress: Stats: Niiyama Shiho was the extraordinarily talented woman that played the voice of Sailor Star Fighter/ Seiya Kou. She was born on March 21, 1970, in Nara, Japan, and worked at Aoni Production. Other voices: Takamura

Of these voices, I have only heard her performances as Seiya and Deedlit. Both were very impressive. She had so much soul in her role as Seiya... Her voice was absolutely beautiful! Think about it... everything about the character of Seiya himself... would any of it be the same if it was someone else doing his/her voice? The soulful fights he got into with his brothers, the deep emotion when he talked to Usagi... I guess it's not something you think about right away. With Seiya, it's possible to get really into his character without even thinking "someone is voicing him". He sounds THAT real. If you've never seen the anime, or heard the splendid job Miss Shiho did with the character, I highly recommend you try and do so. Niiyama Shiho died on Februrary 7, 2000 of kyuusei hakketsu byou, a type of lukemia at the age of 29. You
